Held:-

(i) The proceedings before Labour Court are not hampered by the strict rules of common law and, therefore, certain procedural laws like law of evidence, or CPC are not applicable to such proceedings.

(ii) Social justice should be championed always by the instruments dealing with labour matters and disputes because social justice is justice according to social interest and social justice is designed to undo the injustice of unequal birth and opportunity.
