• Extension of time – the applicant should account for the days since he became aware.
• Extension of time-the applicant to account every day of delay.

Held:-

(i) It is trite law than an applicant before the court must satisfy the court that since becoming aware of the fact that he is out of time, he acted very expeditiously and that the application has been brought in good faith.

(ii) The position of the court has consistently been to the effect that in an application of extension of time, the applicant has to account for every day of the delay.
