Held:-
In law and practice there are two factors usually considered before granting application for extension of time; the first consideration is whether the applicant has disclosed good cause for delay in taking action. In deciding that issue courts take into consideration factors like lengthy of delay and reasons for the delay. The second consideration is ‘whether there are other grounds constituting good reason for granting the application. An example of such good grounds, has been taken to include ‘where a point of law at issue is the legality of the decision being challenged.
