When a party is aggrieved by an ex parte award, the proper procedure open to the aggrieved party is to apply to the CMA explaining reasons for failure to appear before it and seeking its order to set aside the ex  parte award.  It is only when the CMA dismisses such an application that the applicant can properly apply to the Labour Court  for revision of both the ex parte award and the CMA decision refusing to have the award set aside.
