It is highly unsafe to sustain the conviction of an accused person in the absence of a detailed description of the accused at the scene. The witness who identified the witness must describe in detail the identity of the appellant at the scene such identity to include details on the clothing worn, his physique appearance whether tall / short, slim/fact, dark/ light skinned. etc.
